Frequently asked questions
Are smaller kitchen scissors worth having?
Yes. A compact pair is easier to control for herbs, trimming and precise work, and lighter in the hand for frequent use. Many kitchens keep both a small everyday pair and a larger heavy-duty pair.
Can these cut through bone?
No. At 8.25 inches these are intended for herbs, trimming, packaging and light prep. Use larger heavy-duty poultry shears for joints and bone.
